Show Kolb- D 805 Q Where is it with reference to Bull Frog creek? A It would be right at the mouth -- just below the mouth. BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q This is Glen canyon you are speaking of? A This is Glen canyon, yes sir. Q Bull Frog creek? A Yes sir. That wasn't as plain in my memory an some of the others, -- the water pocket fold, that is, the geological formation that cuts across the country, -- and there is a rapid there. BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Now, let's get the location of that rapid. A It is above that Escalante river. There was an oil seep just above that. Q Could you look at this map and tell me where, with reference to the Escalante river? THE SPECIAL MASTER: Mr. Blackmar, on this map, Exhibit No. 6, the round circles with black figures are mileage, are they? MR. BLACKMAR: Mileage above Lee's Ferry. A There is a rapid at Hall's creek. If this was a geological map I could locate it exactly; it is not that kind of map; I don't know just where that fold comes in. MR. MOYER: It is on page 7 of this exhibit. BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Look at page 7, Exhibit No. 10. 2775 |
