Saturday we came home in the ;r.orning & Sariah & Fred & the Gre ens came to see us. I am 76 years old today. (7th) June 8: Sunday. Attended Sunday School & meeting. June 9: We went to Draoer &: visited the Al lens and Bro. & ~ister Richards & & came home in the even ing. Emma. Also Homer is here. Had a solendid visit June 10: 1."forked in the garden. 2 p.m. Sariah & son Fred and his wife came, and in the evening Homer ca me and 'Ne had a very pleasant visit. But he had to go to Provo to start home ;·, i th his company. Visited Bro. Al bert. Maria came & lectured t o the 4:th Ward Relief Society on health. She stayed with us all night. June 11: Vfe ca me to Salt Lake and went t hrough the temple. In the evening blessed his grand dauR;hter Lois ''-teldrur.1 & her son Gilbert S. Meldrum, also her baby Cathryn Meldrum. 'I' hey are going to 1Nas hington D.C. to work Had some pie-cures ta.ken with dau ghter, granddaughter and G.G.granddaughter. (The latter is proba b l y intended to be great granddaughter) June 12: Went throug.>i the temple for the Fortescues & were sealed for eleven couple and worked at the veil. In the evening went to Amondsons studio and got some pictures of our family group. June 13: Went through the temple for Fortescues and came home in the evening and worked in the garden. Saturday answering letters. June 15: Sunday. 8 a.m. attended Prayer Circle. 10:30 attended S. School in the 1st Ward, in the old meeting house. Bp. Fjeld. 2 p.m. attended sacrament meeting in 1st \"Tard as iiome Missionary with Bro. E.A.Bushman & they 2 with Samuel Southwick were the speakers. There was a good turnout. Monday and Tuesday writing his J ourna 1 and letters. June 18: They went to Salt Lake and went through the temple for the ?ortescues. In the evening there was the Rotaries? of America held their convention in 8 '3. lt lake. There was reoresentatives from most a 11 the states. They have 3 days ~nd held some meetings in the tabernacle and at the fair grounds in sports &c. |
