May 3: Preston Palmer came at noon, he is called on a mission to the Northern States. Is to leave Salt lake ~n ihe 7th. He is a large, fine young man. May 4: 8 a.m. attended Prayer Circle. Stake Pres .. S.L.Chipman us and spoke on the Word of Wisdom & family prayer. &: Clark visited 10:30 attended s. School and assisted to administer Sacrament. Preston Palmer & I visited the Peterson relatives. 2 p.m. attended fast meeting, ~Any gave good testimonies. Had a good visit with grandson Preston Palmer. May 5: Preston went to Salt lake and v,as set apart for his mission. May 6: Set apart by S.L.Richards.
