School and 2 p.m .. attended the funeral of Darel Plmostead who w3_s killed in an aeroob.ne accident while in the service of the U_.S. 2 military officers spoke, also Ed. Southwick and Pres-. A..J.Evans. A.11 spoke well of the youn g man. Monday & Tuesday reading & writing; to one Earl Fortescue of England. Monday evening attended priesthood meeting. They discussed heredity and eugenics. They agreed there was nothing but the Gospel lived th'lt would improve the race. l!a:21. 12: V!e went to the temple _and ther-e was such a large company that only lois got through. Smith to visit Josie Evers & family, spent a pleasg_nt evening. 1fuli,. 14: Went through the temple for J .VI. Da lgety. Lois did not go to the temple and came home in the evening. Mar. 15: ·writing in record and v.rroce letters. March 16: Sunday. 8 a.m. attended prayer circle. 11 a.m. attended parents class. 2 p.m. attended Sacrament meeting. March 17: At 2 p.m. attended Relief Society meeting and offered the opening prayer. They had a good meeting and :many testimo:-iies. Pres. A.J,. Evans was present. Barch 18: ·working on record and got a phone message the.t Br9 Jacob had pneumonia at Fairview and was very sicko In the evening ohoned he was better. March 19: Got phone he is better, in the evening they went to Salt lake, stayed with their daughter. March 20: They went through the temple for Wm. Blundell Fortescue. Friday went through for J. Lloyd and came home. The flu is starting again. Ms.rch 23: Sunday.2 p.m. attended sacrament me3t in.g. Prof. George Childs was the speaker. March 25: Got a,ohone from Fairvievr that Brother Jacob 3ushrran died 1 p.m. He was 88 years an& 8 months old. Martin B., John & Albert preEJare to attend the funeral at Fairview on Thursday 27. Alonzo D. Rhodes accompanied them on the train. Arrived at Fairvi ew at 4:15 p.m,. and met all Jacobs children who were all p~esent, at his death.
