All this week I helped :3ros. :Jartin shock wheat 2½ days and Bro. Albert sa.me tir:ie. Wrote many letters and worked in garden. Aag. 4, 1918: Sunday. 9 a.m. attended Prayer Circle. 10:30 attended H. Priest quorum at American Fork. 2 ?•m• fast meeting. 7 p.m. we visited R.J. lflhippb in their beautiful new home. They were pleased to have us come to see it. Aug. 5: Helped Elmore Rhodes haul hay all day. Worked in the garden and writing all week. Our daughter came from Provo. Aug. 11: Sund3.y. Aug. 16: VTent through the temple for uncle Mitchel Smith and worked at the veil. Came home in the evening. Got letters fron relatives in the east. Saturday worked at the temple records. Aug. 18: Sunday. 9 a.m. attended Prayer Circle. 5 new members were admitted. 2 p.m. attended meeting, had home missiona ries, I o:D'feFed the opening prayef. In the evening niece Lois Amundson & husband came from Salt I.a.ke. Later · Wm. Southwick an old veteran came & had a pleasant visit; seems full of faith in the . Gospe 1. Aug. 19: Monday and Tuesday worked on our temple records. A.ug. 21: We went to Saltlake temple. I went through for uncle James W. Smith. Stay with sister Claytons a 11 night. Aug. 22, 1918. I went through for Uncle Wm. Smith and we were proxies for wife's great grand father T. W. Smith & G.G. mother Ann Witherspo on. Sea led s.lso her grand father Thomas Witherspo on Smith and her grand mother Rebecca. Se9.led also wife's uncle Mitchess Smith & wife Martha Lydia, sealed for time & eternity. I• |
