Jan 20: Cold aml fogQ7, Ma.ny of our ward are sick. Jan 21: Col:d and fo ggy. Jan 22: Sunday. Attended S. School, reviewed the Book of I1IorJJ1on. 2 p.m. attended meeting , the speakers were John '.'.:claws, Wm. Berney, H.M.Tanner and J. Bushman. ,an. 23: Cold and fo ggy , worked for Bro. Hansen. Jan. 24: Cleaned up. Jan 25: Sent Lester Ewing to Holbrook with a load of hay. Sister Bushman is 55 years old today. The r; irls got a nice supper & in the evening a lot of young people came in and had an enjoyable time. Jan. 26: Getting a little vra.nner. Jan. 27: Around home. J4n . 28: Around home. Feb . 23: 1899: Start t o Snowflake to attend conference with N.T.Porter. We came to 10 miles of Snowflake. There are 4 of us from St. Joseph. Feb. 24: Cold ar.d. windy, we c ame to Snwoflake at 9 a.m. 2 ~.m. attended High(:°o.uncil meeting t.was called to speak with other bishops. Bros. 'uttal & !,a.ese r spoke to the brethren. Feb. 25: 10 a .m. attended S. 8;chool Conference. 2 p.m. attended S .s. c·onference, Rros. tTuttall & Ma.eser gave good counsel. 7 p.m. attended the Religion Class convention when that work was well illustrated. Feb, 26: 10 a.m. attended the S;. School Conference. 2 p.m. attended S.S. Conference. 7 p.m. attended Priesthood meeting. Feb, 27: 10 a .m. attended Quarterly Conference. The Y.M.M.I.A. Mission, spoke ver~y well. 2 p.:m. attended meeting, Bros. Nuttall & Lls.e ser spoke & others. 4:30 attended Educati onal Roard neeting . There (it) was agreed that a fund be started to sustain the Stake Academy. A part of S.G.IA.dds estate was the first bequea the (sic) and the next ms Sister Paul Smith bequeath $ 100.00 for that institution. Also A.C.M.I. 4Ve ~100. 7 p,m. the Youn g People gave an entertainment for all the missionaries • .. Feb, 28: I came home with Home r, all well at home. !<lr, 1, 1899: Sowed sane wheat, worked on the farm until H<i. rch 26. There has been considerable wind durin g this nonth. The last week Bro. C.L.Christensen J-as been here recrui ting . Ee is a missionary among the 1aI!l9.nites. He gave us a lecture on Indian traditions and will g i ve another to night. lkroh 27: Leveling land and cleaning ditch till April 7th. |
