Brother J ohn Murray was received in to the ward, by recomn1end from 'P.oodruff Stake, Utah. Wesley and Lillian Palmer had their son Alma John ?3.lme:r blessed by John Bushnan. Quite a number spoke in honor of President Youn.g's honorable life's work. I:rriga ting and working around home a 11 week. June 9: Sunday. 10 a.m. attended s. School. 2 p.m. attended meeting, the s~eakers were S.M.Porter, H.F.Bushman, J. Bushman&: J.H~ Richards. 5 p.m. attended lesser priesthood meeting. Jesse S. Bushman was ordained ?riest by J. Bushni.an; Rulon E. Porter vras ordained a priest by his father. Ja.red Porter ordained teacher by his father; John L. Bushman ordained teacher by HJA.Ta.nner; James A. Hansen ordained teacher by John Bushman and Jacob V. 9ushman ordained a deacon by J. Bushman. June 10: Working around home. June 13: Our son Preston returned home today from a mission of 29 months in the Southern States. He looks well and feels well. All the family visit all day with Preston. June 14: Preston, his mother, Adele, Alonzo, Virgil and I all came to Snowflake. Stopped with Wa ltar Smith. June 15: Attended the conference. June 16: Su...11.day. Attended conference. All ·was very instructive. June 17: Returned home. Working on the farm. 1Ne enjoy visiting with Preston and his talk about his relatives. July 9: Sister B's cousin Asa? Mea.dows came from Texas. He visited vtith us 6 days & we enjoyed his visit. We are harvesting our crops are pretty good. Swmner is dry & warm. · F.ave neglected my diary. Sept. 10, 1901: Attended Stake conference at T'.-lylor. Apostle M.F .Cowley & Pres. j . i.icMurrin were there and gave most excellent talks. After conference I brought Apostle Cawley & Pres. McMurrin to Woodruff, held meeting & stayed 9.11 night. Next day we cs.me home and held meeting here, in the evening. Next d'.l.y vre put them on the train. I baptised Albert Despain Westover and he was confirmed on the following Sabba th. Oct. 9: 1901: No'T. 2: Bro. Hansen & I came to Snowflake and attended Priesthood meeting a.t 4 p.m. Pres. Smith gave good advice in rega.rd to our duties• Nov. 3: Attended our specia.l c onf erence and we sust-3. ined the church General 9.uthorities as they were recently org9.nized. LI |
