Henry McCune & wife visited us in the parlor. Our family runs parallel with theirs. Aug. 30: Went through the temple and Bro. Martin and filartha had second blessings for father & mother Bushman. Pres. I talked with/Abel J. Evans and through his kindness we got this work doae for our parents who were faithful latter-day Saints, and we £'eel they are pleased to have us attend to it for them. We a 11 came home in the evening. Our grand daughter Sadia Smith came with (us) to visit a week. Aug. 31: Wrote letters. Sept. 1, 1918: Sunday. 9 a.m. attended Prayer Circle. 10:30 attended H. Priest meeting at American Fork. 2 p.m. attended fast ~eeting, rrany s~oke. Eugene Hilton & wife are here putting up fruit Saturday and Monday. Sept. 2: 2 p.m. attended David V!a.~staff funeral at A..'Tierican Fork. The speakers were Bro. Forbes, Pres. Chipman and Pres. C13.rk, spoke of laying up treasures in hea v en. |
