Telegranhed he would be here at 12 to morrow. r;e came to ·, ioodruff & stopped s.11 night with J .D.Smithson. They were very kind to us. Rained somA during the day. vre came to Snuwflake. At 2 p.m. attended meeting. Br o. C .L.Flake reported the pr oc eedings at the late General Conference held in Salt Lake. Bp~ 1I .E.1."! illis & I also spoke. Professor Haeser & Pres. SP.1it:t came here at 11:30. A meeting was a •1pointed at 10 a.m. 3,~ which was well attended. d9.y 31: The professor occupied the time to go od advantage in giving instructions for the training of the youth. 2 p.m. met in conference when the ?rof. occupied the time. 4 p.m. I met with the 3 oard of Education and all interest e d in the education of the young when Bro. l\ia eser ga. ve instruction for the guidance of the board. At 7 p.m. met with the Young People when Bro. Maeser gave instructions for their advancement. After seeing him off I had a talk with Brother Mclaws, about some feelings wh ich he entertains toward the peop le of St. Jose?h for signing a p etition.
