School and bore testimony. 2 p.m. 9.ttended meeting. Many bore testimonies. The bishopric requested the teachers to visit John Mclaws and son and ascertain if they were going; to comply with 3os. decision. /i1~ L~wS' Working on farm, planting corn &c. all week. &: Rogers are here. Our ward conference convened at 11 a.m. The Stake Presidency occupied the time. 2 :30 p.m. meeting convened, the ward was reported a.nd the ward officers were presented and sustained. !lay 10: Sunday. Pres. Smith !1 The teachers reported that John Mclaws and son did not expect to comply /"/ of hand the that them of both notified with tha Bishops decision. Mclaws case was referred to Apostle Cowley, just came. lhy 16: Attended conference at 10 a.m. Pres Smith spoke and several of the Bps . reported their wards , and S .D .Rogers spoke. lay 17: Sunday. Attended conference &: reperted our ward. Apostle Cowley & Elder Lewis A. Kelch spoke splendid on repentance and faith. Altogether we had an excellent conference. Monday we came home and worked around home all week. May 24: Sunday. 10 a .m. attended S. School. 2 p.m. attended meeting. Working !!.round home a 11 week. Sc.her,;> 30: 10 a.m. attended s. School. 2 p.m. attended meeting. Severs.l of the young men spoke. The School House Committee wished me to take charge of the brick making for the new school house. We employed Brother H.W .Despain at 30t per hour 173 at close of each week. :Jay All the latter part of the week we are working on the brick yard and make 18,000 brick this week. Saturday we had a splendid rain, the best we ever had in June. June 7: 10 a.m. attended s. School when many of the class bore testimony. 2 p.m. attended meeting and bore my testimony~ I am 60 ye3.rs old today. Ma.king brick, the rains stop us some, we continue to make brick whenever we can until the 27th of August 1903 when we have nade 180,000 brick or 150,000 in the 2 kilns besides the caseing and covering.
