The front entrance is through four doors crowned by an oval-shaped transom. The whole facade hints of a large oval with two large pilasters extending the two floors and concluded by explain but crown-like cornice. Interviews with local citizens indicate that it was used for a dance hall and roller skating rink. In later years (1930 on) it was owned by Alma J. Lundahl and called Dansante and was used for the same purpose_until 1951 wfren it was leased to Mode O'Day Corp. Today it is still used by Mode O'Day for the manufacture of women's clothing. |
