Sciance Transportation The home is good as an architectural contribution but is also significant because of the prominence of the original owner, Aaron Dewitt. Dewitt was one of the original settlers of Logan in 1859 and he like all of the first comers to Cache Valley was a Mormon. But by the late 1860's he had rejected his new faith. As a gentile he was prominent in the bringing of the Episcopal church into Cache Valley in 1873. |
