A low pitched roof covers a large front portico and supported by a large square brick column. The third floor is created by large window dormors. The entire structure is very symm etrical and tall, and is thus an excellent example of box style. The original owner, David Jenkins, was a Utah Pioneer that came out west in 1855. He came to Cache Valley in 1860 and was one of the first employees of the Utah Northern Railroad. He later ran a general merchandise store in town. |
