Religion -- Science --.SocLo-Hutnanitarian --Transportation This building was constructed in 1912 to be used by the Seth Blair Motor Co., though Blair Motor occupied it only for two years and then moved. -Since that time the building has been used by various automobile companies. In 1913-14, Blair Motor Company advertised the "Hupmobile." The automobile business at that time was quite different than today, as cars were still considered a luxury. According to W. W. Lundberg, a local automobile dealer, the cars came into the companies disassembled; that way more would fit on a railroad car. |
