The first floor has been modernized somewhat with two different stores using the building. The second floor has remained virtually the same as the original. Three sets of rectangular windows (five in total) dominate the second floor and are crowned by a large, Greek cornice with detail work and a double set of brackets at each end and three single brackets spaced evenly in between. We do know, however, that it was known as the Cardon-Ballard Block as early as 1909.
