He also farmed in the Benson area and then later became a member of the Thatcher Orchestra. He performed often with the Hotel Utah Roof Garden Orchestra in Salt Lake City. He also performed with John Held's band at Liberty Park and Pete Christensens orchestra at Saltair. Mr. Thatcher was also instrumental in the construction of the old Logan Pavillion. |
