Their son,Peter W. Maughan, lived in this home with his mother until she died, at which time Peter W. moved to Providence and sold the land and home to Luna Y. Thatcher. It was then sold in 1915 to Reid Shamhart who was the manager of Howell-Cardon Clothing Store and then part-owner of Shamhart & Christensen's . |
