In 1892, Andreas Peterson purchased it from ZCMI and operated a shoe sales and repair store. In 1904 Peterson advertised in the Polk City Directory as offering "the finest and best footwear," "Small Profit and Quick Returns" was his motto. The building now houses a locally owned jewelry store. |
