The second level has a large square window which has replaced three windows that were crowned with arches of segmented brick. The top of this straight facade is highlighted by three sets of small,ornamental, arched brickwork. The U.S. Post Office also used the building for some time. There has also been a pool and billiard hall, barber shop, and now a bar and organic foods store. The original owner, ^.G. Barber, was an English sailor who converted to Mormonism in 1851. He settled in Cache County in i860 and was a member of the School of Prophets. He was one of the early Utah pioneers. |
