TRACTATUS induötionc, tempore comitis Leycefrriæ ab. ipfis edit;-^i, palam faciunt , fibi authoritatem femper refervaverunt , ad eofdem comites fui ochii monendum & poteftatem fibi retinuerunt , ad hanc fuam authoritatem, & civium libertatem defendendum, fefeque deiifdem, fi in tyrannos degenerarent, vindicandum, & eosita retiendum , ut nihil , nifi concedentibus , & approbantibus ordini- bus, eHicere poffent. Ex quibus fequitur,jusiiipremæ majef'tatis femper penes ordines fuil e, uod quidem ultimus comes conatus eft ufurpare; quare longe abeit , quod ab eo defecerint , cum pri"fiinum fuum imperium pænejam amiifum reitauraverunt.Hisivitur exemplis id , quod diximus omnino conürmatur , quod fcilicet uniulctijusqtie imperii forma necefïario retinenda eft, nec abfque periculo totalis ipfius ruinse mutari poteft, & hæc funt, quæhic operæ pretium notare duxi.
