Show CALIFORNIA DEFENDANTS Exhibit No. 135 Identification: May 6, 1957 Admitted: May 7, 1957 This Agreement made and entered into this 14th day of August, 1900, by and between Guillermo Andrade, a citizen of Mexico, residing in the City of Los Angeles, State of California, party of the first part, and The California Development Company, a corporation duly organized and existing under the laws of the State of New Jersey, doing business in the State of California, party of the second part, and George Chaffey, party of the third part, WlTNESSETH I That whereas, the party of the first part is the owner of Eighty-Thousand Dollars ($80,000) of the land scrip of the party of the second part evidenced by two certain certificates numbered respectively 109 and 110, and is also the owner of 400 shares of the Capital Stock of party of the second part evidenced by certificate No. 161; and Whereas, second party is the owner of 11,995 shares of the Capital Stock of the Sociedad de Irrigacion y Terrenos de la Baja California, (Sociedad Anonima), a Corporation duly organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the Republic of Mexico (hereinafter called the Mexican Company) which said shares of stock are evidenced by 11,995 certificates numbered respectively 1 to 11,995; and Whereas, second party is about to issue bonds in the sum of Five hundred thousand ($500,000) Dollars to be secured by a deed of trust to a Trustee; and |
