City of Yuma. ) On this thirteenth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine, before me, a Notary Public in and for the said City and Territory, personally appeared Hiram W. Blaisdell and William T. HefFernan who are personally known to me to be the same persons who executed the aforesaid instrument as Vice-President and Secretary of Sociedad de Irrigacion y Terrenos de La Baja California (Sociedad Anonyma), named therein and they duly acknowledged that they executed same freely and voluntarily, and that the said instrument was the free act and deed of the said corporation and the said Hiram W. Blaisdell and William T. Hefferman being by me duly sworn, did depose and say that they are r&pectfully the Vice President and Secretary of the Sociedad de Irrigacion y Terrenos de La Baja California (Sociedad Anonyma) aforesaid, a corporation described within, which executed the foregoing instrument, that the seal thereto affixed is the corporate seal of said Company, that said instrument was signed and sealed in behalf of said Company by the authority of its Board of Directors.
