Show -2- the President be authorized to transfer to Los Angeles, California, all books, papers, etc. belonging to the Company; and the principal place of business of said Company is now in the Stowell Block in the city and county of Los Angeles, State of California; and Whereas, party of the second part is a corporation duly incorporated and organized under the laws of the state of California, for the purpose, among other things, of holding and administering property in trust, and having its office and principal place of business in the City of Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles, State of California, one of the United States of America; and Whereas, the Company has acquired a certain tract of land in the County of San Diego, State of California, U. S. A. for a water heading on the Colorado River, and has also acquired and is in possession of Sixty two thousand dollars ($62,000.) of the capital stock of Sixty two thousand five hundred dollars ($62,500.) Mexican money, of La Sociedad de yrrigacion y Terrenos de la Baja California (Sociedad Anonima) hereinafter called "The Mexican Company," a corporation duly organized under and by virtue the laws of the Republic of Mexico, which said Mexican Company owns certain lands located in the Republic of Mexico, and other property, all of which is more particularly hereinafter described, and Whereas, Guillermo Andrade, a citizen of the Republic of Mexico, heretofore conveyed to the Mexican Company forty thousand four hundred and eight (40.408) nectares or one hundred thousand acres of land situated in Lower California, Republic of Mexico, being the lands hereinafter more particularly described; and |
