Show -12- the said "Company," the party of the first part, the Colonization Contract and concessions granted to the said Andrade by the Government of the Republic of Mexico on the 27th day of February, 1897. Section Four. Party of the first part hereby recognizes that certain agreement made and entered into by and between Guil-lermo Andrade (one of the parties of the second part hereto), as party of the first part, and The California Development Company, a corporation existing under the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States of America, as party of the second part, dated the 29th day of June, 1898; and hereby binds itself and assumes and agrees to perform and carry out all of the provisions, covenants and agreements in said contract contained on the part of or by said California Development Company, in so far as they relate to or affect the lands of this "Company," or in so far as they refer to any contracts or agreements to be entered into by this "Company," and in so far as the same provides for contracts or agreements that shall be made or entered into by this "Company," and this "Company" makes said contract by said California Development Company its own where-ever the same contains any provision or agreement as to any contract or contracts which it, the said California Development Company, would procure this "Company" to enter into or execute; and this "Company," party of the first part herein, recognizes that by the term "Mexican Company" used in said contract was intended the corpora- |
