Show -3- waters belonging to it in the Republic of Mexico, on the same terms, conditions and proportions of cash and scrip on which the same, by the terms thereof, is to be received in payment by said California Development Company for lands belonging to it. To that end, and for the purposes of payment for lands and water belonging to said undersigned "Company" in the Republic of Mexico, said land scrip and the contracts therein contained shall be deemed to be the land scrip and contracts of said undersigned "Company." 3. When any of such certificates of land scrip so endorsed are presented to this "Company" for redemption, this "Company" shall accept them at their par value in payment for any of its lands offered for sale by the "Company," according to the expressed terms and provisions thereof, and of the endorsement on the back thereof; it being the intention of the said "Company" to guarantee all the provisions of said land scrip relating to lands and water owned by the "Company" located in Lower California, Republic of Mexico, and no more. All the conditions and provisions of the hereinabove mentioned guarantee shall inure to the benefit of any subsequent purchaser of said land scrip, and the "Company" shall indite and execute the same endorsement on all new certificates of land scrip issued in lieu of such certificates or parts thereof which may be surrendered for transfer by the purchaser, upon application. 4. It is Further Stipulated and Agreed by all parties hereto, in case a successor corporation to the California Development Company is organized, then and in such event, the new successor corporation may call in, take up and retire said land scrip, and the said Andrade, |
