Show his heirs and assigns, or any owner or holder of said land scrip agree to, and will surrender all of the land scrip hereinabove described and mentioned, and accept in lieu thereof the certificate or security of such successor corporation, which shall contain and express like provisions, conditions and terms, and which shall be in like manner endorsed by this "Company," and shall in all respects be of equal value, and shall be received in payment for lands and waters by the successor of said California Development Company, and by said "Company" party hereto, on the same terms, conditions and proportions of cash and script as is provided for by the terms of said scrip of said California Development Company, with such endorsement thereon. Section Two. 1. Party of the first part, for itself, its successors and assigns, does hereby give, grant, sell and convey (subject to the restrictions of the laws of the Republic of Mexico), to Guillermo Andrade, party of the second part, rights of way forever for the construction, operation and maintenance of three main canals over and across all lands now or hereafter owned by the said undersigned "Company," party of the first part, in Lower California, Republic of Mexico, for the purposes of conducting and carrying water across said lands to other lands belonging to said Andrade, or that may hereafter be owned by him, or which may be owned by any corporation of which he is a stockholder. 2. Said Andrade, his heirs and assigns, may locate said canals across said lands of the "Company," and which may respectively begin at any point or points on the Colorado, Salton, Carter or Paredones Rivers, or the proposed |
