Show CALIFORNIA DEFENDANTS Exhibit No. 118 Identification: Feb. 15, 1957 Admitted: May 6, 1957 This Indenture, Made this first day of July, in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred, between The California Development Company party of the first part, hereinafter called "The Company", and the Title Insurance and Trust Company, hereinafter called "the Trustee" party of the second part, Witnesseth: That Whereas, party of the first part is that certain corporation organized on or about the 24th, day of April, 1896, and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the state of New Jersey, one of the United States of America, which said corporation is authorized to construct, acquire and hold headings, canals and reservoirs, for collecting water and irrigating land, to distribute water, irrigate lands, to sell or let such water, and own, let and sell land and water rights and franchises in the United States of America and Republic of Mexico; to introduce settlers and colonists on such land, and to make and acquire colonization contracts; and to exercise such rights, and transact such business as is more fully set forth in its certificate of organization on file in the office of the Secretary of State of the State of New Jersey; and Whereas, the stockholders of said Company, at the regular annual meeting of such stockholders held at the office of said corporation in Jersey City, New Jersey, upon the 5th day of June, 1900. by resolution duly adopted, resolved that the principal place of business of the Company be removed to Los Angeles, California, and that |
