Species egrege Bui. pusio, Brod., et pseudogastrum, Hesse, insulce Syrce, nee non etuberculati, Frauenfld., insulce Andri, sed his omnibus multo major, maxime cylindrata et minus distincte striata.-T. breviter sed profunde ri/nata, conico-oblonga, so/idula, epidermide nitida, lutea, strigis obsoletis olivaceo-fuscis ornata induta ; spira convexo-conica; apex acutiusculus. Anfr. 7 vix convexiusculi, sutura lineari, crenulata et fere submar-ginata disjuncti, obsolete striatvli, striis ad suturam paulo distinctioribus, ad basin hie illic spiraliter lineolati, ultimas \ altitudinis cequans. Apert. parva, truncalo-ovalis, superne et inferne angulata; perist. albolabiatum, marginibus lute dis-tantibus, callo distincto junctis, dextro longo, ad suturam breviter subsinuato, parum curvato, columellari brevi, subreflexo ; columella recta, planafa. Tuberculum angulare nullum. Alt. 181, diam. maj. 8, minor 7\ mm.; alt. apert. fere 7\, lat. apert. 5 | mm. (Spratt). Hab. insulam Milo. Fig. 3. Buliminus milensis. 4. BULIMINUS (ENA) STOKESI, n. sp. Char. Species maxime off. Bui. caucasio, Pfr., sed spira exacte turrita nee convexo-turrita, colorepallidiore, obsolete strigata.- T. breviter rimata, turrita, solidula, nitidula, corneo-albida, hie illic obscurius luteo strigata ; spira exacte turrita ; apex obtusus, obscurius luteus. Anfr. 8 convexiusculi, medii fere plani, lente accrescentes, sutura impressa submarginala disjuncti, striatu/i, superiores pro latitudine testa alti, ultimus major, basi tumidulus, -| altitudinis subcequans. Apert. subrecta, acuminato-ovata, faucibus fuscula; perist. tenue, albolabiatum, marginibus sub-expansis, dextro ad suturam parum. arcuato, columellari subreflexo; columella subconcava, superne sat distincte contorio-plicata. Alt. 17%, diam. min. 5f, maj. 7 mm.; alt. apert. 6, lat. apert. 4 mm. Hab. Amorgo insulam. Obs. Specimen unicum solum vidi mortuum. |
