(Plate XXVII. fig. 10.) Poona, October. Palpi pinkish ; antennae, head, thorax, and fore wings pale pinkish brown; abdomen grey ; thorax covered with brown atoms, and with a deep black band in front. Fore wings covered with brown dots, thicker in some parts than in others, forming a short antemedial band, commencing from a deep black longitudinal streak near the hinder border ; a postmedial and a discal band, all very diffuse, but plainly visible ; on the outside of the discal band is a brown, double, nearly straight line, followed by a row of black spots of various sizes, those in the centre being much the smallest; marginal points black.
