Pitta rufiventris, Salvad. op. cit. vol. ii. p. 401. a. 2 • Batchian. Iris bluish ; bill black ; feet olive. The bill is more slender in this species than in the other Erythropittas ; there is no black throat, and very little trace of a dark line below the blue of the breast! The arrangement of the white spot on the wing in the present individual is the same as in some examples of P. mackloti; the inner web of the third primary, both webs of the fourth, and the outer web of the fifth only are white. 50.
