Bombay, November. 3 • Antennae, palpi, head, and thorax rufous ; eyes black; abdomen testaceous, with a longish anal tuft. Fore wing chocolate-brown, with the apex pale and the hinder margin broadly black, a whitish line bordered inwardly with brown from the centre of the hinder margin to the costa near the apex ; costa reddish. Hind wing testaceous, basal portion palest. Underside: wings of a uniform smoky testaceous colour ; body and legs pale reddish white. Expanse of wings -3$ inch. 103. OR^ESIA EMARGINATA.
