They had eleven children: Nathan, born April 19, 1803,; Kenyon, born and died June 23, 1805; Maria, born March 7, 1807; Esther Ann, born March 9,1809; Thankful T., born June 6, 1811, and died Nov. 1, 1811; Angeline, born Sept. 16, 1813, and died Aug. 1, 1835; Joshua T., born August 23, 1817; Susannah, born May 30, 1820, and died May 24, 1870; Martha, born July 13, 1821; Joseph Casper, born Jan. 12, 1824, and died Jan. 1, 1827; Stephen, born Apr. 23, 1816, and died May 18, 1816. Betsey Tanner. born Dec. 25, 1785, in Hopkinton, R. 1. Mar ied June 17, 1810, Newman Perkins, born March 18,1784, in Saratoga County, New York. They were married in Green wich, New York, and their children were born in Bolton, New York, excepting the first. Betsey died at Coldwater, Michigan, Jan. 13, 1869; her husband died at Dover, Michi gan, July 25, 1859. They had nine children: John, born July 2, 1810; Samuel, who died in infancy; Elemeron, born Sept. 3,1814; Almon, born March 1, 1817; twin brother died 3 months old; Newman, born June 18, 1819; Alpheus, born March 3,1822; Palmer C., born April 13, 1824; Pardon, born April 13, 1824; William T., born Jan. 15, 1829. Esther Tanner, born May 10, 1788, in Hopkinton, R. I. Married John Wellwood, a son, James Wellwood, resided at one time in Mexico, N. Y.; another son, John, went to sea, ship supposed to have been lost with all on board; Nathan Place, another son resided in Mexico, N. Y. Pardon Tanner, born March 23,1791, in Washington County, N. Y. Married Dec. 31, 1813, Harriet Dean, born April 19, 1796. He died July 2, 1881, Bolton Landing, New York. They had seven children: Harvey Dean, born Jan. 15,1815; Martin P., born Feb. 19, 1819; Artimus, born April 29, 1822; Lucinda Orinda, born Aug. 7, 1829; Harriet Aurila, born Aug. 26, 1831; Francis M., born Nov. 20, 1840. Francis Tanner, born May 10" 1783, in Washingto:q,'County, Married Alcey Morey, born April 17, 1796, New York. probably in Rhode Island, who died in 1882. He died Oct. 11,1831. They had nine children: Joshua, born Nov. 15, 1814; Isabella M, born Dec. 15, 1815; Betsey, born Jan. 20, 1818; Cauncey C., born Feb. 29, 1820; Saviak, born 'Feb. 8, 1822; James, born May 8, 1824; Francis, born Dec. 15, 1826; Esther, born Dec. 4,1829; Thankful, born Sept. 4, 1830.
