Show 361 Appendix Winter Quarters June the 13 1847 Dear Husband It is with pleasure that I improve this opportunity of wrighting to let you know that your family are in good health. It is my desire that these lines may find you enjoying many great & glorious blessing. I am very anxious to hear from you, the time seems long, very long since I saw you. I have been left many times but never did I realize my incapicity of getting along without you, to lean on or to advise me. I allways had more directions about matters & understood how to get along better than I do at the present time. while after you left I was very much broke up. I could not any where at home or abroad night or day. I was miserable, I had lost my companion & with him all my let me be where I would I have all most every thing to have seen you & would given enjoyment. received your council. I am inexperienced in the place & situation I am in & I shall be thankful, very thankful if the Lord will be merciful For content a myself - placed to me I & spare our lives that we do what again, I hope never to part. as for require or at least try though you could ever leave or may meet you willing ever leaving again it does not seem as think of leaving me again. I do think I shall stick very close at I enjoy myself much better at present than I did for a season. am to ever - any rate. I would not have you think it was any mistreatment from anyone for I have no fault to find. I pray my heavenly Father that peace and union may remain with us. I never was left before but that I could hear something from 'you or some other way & it seems as though I could not wait for letter by this letter to go before I hear from you. I have been wrighting all I could think of for the week past & when you get home I want a good long visit • with you but not to deprive anyone else. I want you to be very careful of your health as you have no one to take care of you if you should get sick. Time seems long to look a head, but be of good chear it will soon pass away. Letters for several indivi duals have just been distributed in this place. I have been up to Sister line for Carringtons & to my great disappointment there was no letter or But never mind if you get this letter you will have to spend time me. so all is right. enough if you read it all to make up your not wrighting, the High before devishon up Br. Lainy has had nearly all of this last died that Winter, horse his for Council to see if he could not get pay & at last they had to give him the use of a yolk of Cattle to be given up wished me to mention this as he was the fore at the end. journeys Sidney & had to settle the concern. 0 that Br. Rich starts tomorrow morning. He will take this to you. I could converse with you on many subjects, there is a great deal I seek think there to learn as women have to learn of their husbands at home.
