Show Foreword to Section Three: The biographies of some of the Tanner children may appear a bit sketchy due to the fact that much of the story of the family has been told in earlier chapters. For instance, the youngest of the boys, David Dan, was born in 1838 in Kirtland, Ohio, shortly before John Tanner moved his family to Missouri. If descendants of David Dan want to know something of the John Tanner Family in Ohio and Missouri, they will find little in the chapter on David Dan, but by reading the appropriate chapters in Section One, they will find the information. The biographies of all the Tanner children will be better under stood after a reading of the first two sections of this volume. |
