A They came in by wagon from Hanksville. Q To what point on the river? A To Hite. Q How far was the place of his drilling from Hite? A About seventeen miles. Q Who took care of getting supplies from Hite to him? A Mr. Seaboldt and Lon Turner took a boat and brought some things down; I brought some things down, and they used pack horses on the west side of the river.
