Show 4530 Barnes 2550 MR. BLACKMAR: May we have an adjournment now? THE SPECIAL MASTER: You expect to finish tomorrow? MR. BLACKMAR: Yes, your Honor. THE SPECIAL MASTER: Do you expect to take all day? MR. BLACKMAR: No, I should say if we could start at nine o'clock tomorrow we would be through at noon. THE SPECIAL MASTER: I think nine- thirty is early enough, considering the distance from the hotel. But I should like to know whether you expect to finish by one o'clock, because I have an engagement at that time. MR. BLACKMAR: I think we will be through by one o'clock, your Honor. THE SPECIAL MASTER: I don't want to adjourn now unless we are pretty certain of that fact. MR. BLACKMAR: I am fairly certain of it. I haven't any witness I can proceed with. THE SPECIAL MASTER: We will have to adjourn, if you haven't got a witness. ( Thereupon, at 5: 10 P. M., an adjournment was taken until Saturday, September 28, 1929, at 9: 30 o'clock A. M.) |
