Show 4523 Barnes- D 2343 you were there? A Charles H. Spencer. Q Was he still there when you left? A Yes sir, he was still there when I left. Q Did you ever make more than one trip with this large launch? A I made the one trip to Warm creek, and I made possibly about three short trips. Q Have you picture there of that large launch? Did it have a name? A No, that is not it; I have no picture of the large launch. That ( indicating) is the stern wheeler I built for the Santa Fe railroad; that was built at Needles. ( Complainant's Exhibits 411, 412, 413 and 414 was thereupon marked by the reporter.) Q Mr. Barnes, I show you Exhibits 411, and ask you to tell us, please, what that picture is. A That is a place we landed to camp for the evening, above the mouth of the San Juan river a few miles, the row boat and the power boat. THE SPECIAL MASTER: Read the answer. ( Last answer read.) BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q This is the boat in which you went to Dandy Crossing? A Yes sir. |
