Show 4453 Marrs- C 2473 were you? A I was fooled every day, and stuck about twice a day. Q Stuck about twice a day? Only twice a day? A From that up to one hundred, depending on how far we went. Q Probably as high as two hundred, would you say? A If we had gone far enough, yes. Q You have done more talking about sandbars and gotting stuck in the last day or two, haven't you, than you ever did in all the rest of your life put together? A No sir, I have not. I didn't use the same language I used at that time, either. Q Now, in your use of the word " channel" in your tes-timony, you have had in mind two channels, have you? A You have two channels there. Q I am not asking you what you have; I am asking you-- I am trying to get at your definition of channel. A Yes sir. Q Where you have used the word " channel", you have used it as meaning two different channels, both boat channels, but one the boat channel going up and the other the boat channel coming down; is that right? A Your last statement is correct; there were two channels, up and down channel, although they might be in the same place part of the way. |
