Show 4376 Loper- D 2396 to the ranch -- no, I went out to Greenriver with my team, and I got some supplies. BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q How did you take this team from Good Hope? A My team was still up at Lawler's, at Hite. The team at Good Hope was somebody else's; they belonged to some fellows; I took team to Greenriver and got myself some supplies and brought them back and went back down to my ranch. Q How long did you stay on your ranch? A I think it was July or August. Q Did you do some boating that time? A No sir. Q After you got through there in July or August, where did you go? A A fellow came along and wanted the place. I didn't want it, so I let him have it, and moved out. I went to Hanksville, and put in the winter there. Q When did you next have anything to do with the Green river? Before that, when did you next have anything to do with the Colorado river? A My next experience with the Colorado river was in 1916. Q Where abouts was that? A It was in company with Ellsworth L. Kolb; we put our boats in eight or nine miles above Glenwood Springs, and boated |
