BLACKMAR: Q Are you able to state, by general knowledge that you have acquired living in the neighborhood of those rivers, whether or not there are rivers between Fruitland and Bluff City which flow the year around? A I am talking now of general reputation of those rivers. MR. FARNSWORTH: We object to general reputation. THE SPECIAL MASTER: I don't think that is proper. MR. BLACKMAR: Well, i don; t care to press it. THE SPECIAL MASTER: I think you have had a witness testify, anyway, that there are no rivers except the Animus. BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Have you had occasion to observe the character of the river bed with reference to sand, and so forth? A Yes sir. Q And at what points have you made that observation? A Well, I have seen it from Pogosa Springs down to Bluff city. Q Where is Pogosa springs? A In the state of Colorado. Q About how far from Bluff city?
