A Yes sir; that was the lowest. About, I think I ever saw it, about a foot deep. Q Then you recall another occasion where you crossed it at Sand Island, about five miles below Bluff? A Yes sir. Q When it was shallow; how deep was it there at that time? A About a foot at the lowest, but as a rule it was up and down, as I said. Q You struck it at some extremely low water mark when it was as shallow as that? A Yes sir. Q Just on one occasion? A Well, maybe. Q That is all you saw it A Well, yes.
