Q Do you recall at any time of your experience in Bluff and in and around the San Juan country that any supplies were ever brought in to Bluff, Utah, by way of the Colorado river and then up the San Juan river? A No sir. Q Do you recall floods that have happened on the San Juan river of any particular size and capacity? A Yes sir. Q Just tell us about those, please. A I don't just remember the year, but there has been terrible floods down there; in 1886 the first serious flood we had tore up things and ruined our ditch. Q Has a part of the town of Bluff, Utah, gone down the river? A No, not the town itself. Q Do you frequently get floods on the San Juan river every year? A Well, not high, not extra high, dangerous ones; we usually get along with them, all right. SPECIAL MASTER: What do you mean by " frequently every year?" Do you mean a great many floods in one year?
