Q How long did you do that? A One winter, freighted continually. Q Aside from that experience, did you ever have any acquaintance, or was there any occasion on for you to be in San Juan county until you moved there about two and a half years ago? A I don't think there has ever been a year I haven't been in San Juan county since I left Jewett, New Mexico, either after stock or on a round- up. Q That would be at points far removed from San Juan river, wouldn't it? A No; I usually crossed the San Juan river out on the reservation after stock; done that a number of times. Q What reservation? A Navajo reservation. Q In what state? A That would be in Utah, and New Mexico, and Arizona; it is all below the four corners and above. Q Right down in the southeast corner of the state of Utah?
