Q The high water is the water that comes down in the early spring - late spring and early summer months, isn't it? A Yes sir, and the gauge shows a natural wave, certain rise and fall all through the twenty- four hours. Q What does? A The government gauge. I tend the gauge at Goodrich; the gauge show a wave, steady wave all the way through the whole twenty- four hours; raises at certain times of night, and falls in the day. Q I wasn't asking you anything about a gauge. You do attend the government gauge station, do you, at Goodrich? A yes sir. Q How long have you been in that employ? A About two years.
