Q These occasions that you have referred to in your testimony, two occasion when you observed these rapid rises in the river, one rise of seven feet in a hour, the other of five feet in twenty- five minutes, those were on occasions when there has been a cloudbursts? A Yes, rains, cloudbursts. Q How far is your home from the river? A It is about two hundred yards. Q What occasion do you have to go down to the river at all? A Well, we haul water from there, and then I make the trips to the gauge three times a week; haul water probably ones a week. Q Where is the gauge, right in the river near your home there? A Just across the river and below, probably half a mile from the house. Q How long have you lived there at Goodrich? A At Goodrich? Q Yes. A About two years and a half.
