BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q What times of year are the cow camps in the country? A They are all the year around, but they move from the low country in the summer on to the mountains and then back on the mesas. BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Of course the mountains are all east of Bluff? A The Elk mountains run down towards Colorado, high mesas. Q Does a good deal of drift wood come down the San Juan during these floods? A Yes sir. Q What about sand? Is there a good deal of sand carried? A Yes sir, there is. Q Have you ever seen sand waves on the river? A Yes sir. Q How high? A Oh, four or five feet. MR. BLACKMAR: That is all, Mr. Jones. MR.
