A No, it was from Bluff on down about five miles below it spread all over and washed out the bottoms; from there on down it was pretty well confined. Q That is the situation today? A Yes. Q As I understood you to answer counsel a moment ago, the condition has changed a great deal on the river since you first saw it in 1880 up around Bluff? A Yes sir. Q From there down to Chinle creek? A From Bluff down to what we call Sand Island fist, further up it has changed considerable. Q That is the area where the river spreads a great deal, isn't it? A Yes.
