Show early bench- all metal w/ some plywood added t&g planks from floor upstairs legs angle over allminerals modified this section of roof to do the stairway here Main Floor New Section Newer Biding any oother machinery that in the middle a screen All had bagging machine basement? a full basement in this building nothing in basementpedestal w/ screen, screen right above it 12 feet to 15 ft long hole in center pillars get larger in middle of building b/c biding goes up higher a few more stories this is where all minerals modified the building for the 500 ton bin that's up on the top it sits out over the tracks on that side scale house area: scale and controls in basement a little room part of ? any other machinery in area? no ore came from hopper right down, there was a belt above and one below in the basement scale weigh a carload of ore. a regular RR scale. one on the east & one on the west each time you would have a lot 0 f ore- each time clean up after it weigh it out 7 push it down farther. then train would come pick it up When it was -set apart Utah? we would get 8 to 10 cars to a lot after each lot you had to sweep this up, blow it out, clean up so theres no dust or nothing after each you had to clean it up completely North End Main Floor newer part of Building under the 2 big hoists [only one crusher at other end of building] In this area there were screens- really big screens b/c the pillars under where we stand here are 4 feet across the screen stood straight up there were screens here & stood way up Sue- photos of old machinery????? compressor- that blew flu dust thru bag house 8 foot screen was the door here orig? the concrete is still there Allminerals had a rock crusher here- a cyclone crusher door in machine shop the hinges are forged West Side the floor was filled in Bo is dog's name air compressor still here- smaller one is older/orig one maybe? orig storage tank rivited & steel plate, 15-20 ft high & 4 ft across Allminerals used tank, and added this compressor ON North end moving south |
