RECOMMENDATIONS: Carefully remove the four added rooms, salvaging any historic materials such as period doors. Remove other non-original items such as newer shelving. In doing demolition, take great care not to damage any original materials. 7. PAINTING EXISTING CONDITION: It appears that only the doors and window sashes were painted originally. The flooring, walls and ceilings were unpainted as evidenced by the fact that they remain unpainted today. RECOMMENDATIONS: Leave unpainted surfaces unpainted. Prepare surfaces and repaint doors and window sashes and slides. |
