W e have this species from Kurrachee and other parts of India. OPHIDERID^E. 64, OPHIDERES MATERNA. Phalana-Noctua materna, Linnaeus, Syst. Nat. ii. p. 840, n. 117. Aden ( cf Swinhoe; 2 Yerbury). W e have received the female of this species from Abyssinia; it is a common Indian insect. OMMATOPHORID/E. 65. CYLIGRAMMA LATONA. Phalana-Noctua latona, Cramer, Pap. Exot. i. p. 20, pi. 13. fig. B (1779). Aden. W e have received this species from Nyassa. OPHIUSID^E. 66. SPHINGOMORPHA MONTEIRONIS. Sphingomorphamonteironis, Butler, Ann. & Mag. Nat. Hist, ser vol. xvi. p. 406, n. 81 (1875). cf, Aden. W e have also received this species from Abyssinia ; the present specimen is a little darker than any of our examples from various parts of Africa, but corresponds with them in pattern. 67. Ins. ii. p. 218, n. 54. cf, Aden. W e have received G. stolida from Abyssinia. EUCLIDIID^E. 69. TRIGONODES ACUTATA. Trigonodes acutata, Guenee, Noct. iii. p. 283, n. 1728. Aden.
